Our little lady decided that she needed a little encouragement to come and meet us so around 10:30am on January 12, we headed to the hospital for me to be induced. Everything went well.
I had doctor daddy there moving the mouse on the computer when the nurse left the room so that we could monitor the contractions. I pushed twice before Desi told a joke that got me laughing pretty hard. My doctor said to be careful because I might laugh the baby out and sure enough, I did.
Madeleine was born at 5:30 pm weighing 7 lbs, 14 oz and was 19" long. This was our first meeting.
