Movie Night: A New Hope

Saturday night we watched a little Star Wars. James got out Daddy's tie fighter to act out the final scene, but that picture must be on Daddy's phone.

Company

Papa Dave, Grandma Tracey and Rachel were in town for cousin Michael's wedding at the end of July and we had a great visit. Uncle Ray, Kim Lee, Sarah, Patrick, Maggie and Andy came over for dinner Thursday night (meant to take more pics of that, oops!), Papa Dave came to tennis on Friday and we all went swimming on Saturday.

Picnic and squirt gun fight

The cleaning ladies came at a different time than usual in advance of having dinner guests so we had a little picnic and squirt gun fight while we waited for them to finish.

After lunch and nap time we squeezed in a trip to the Splash Pad at Harvester Park before Grandma
Dolly, Papa Chuck, Auntie NeNe and Uncle Mike came over for dinner. I forgot James' suit and Madeleine's top so he wore his shorts and she had fun in her swim diaper.

Turning 7

Carolyn planned out her birthday months in advance: cinnamon rolls for breakfast, Wendy's for lunch and Chipotle for dinner. She wasn't concerned about the activities in between as long as the food was right. Desi took the day off to celebrate with her. We started the day with swimming lessons and tennis.
