Memorial Day Parade 2016

James, Carolyn and Daddy marched in our town's Memorial
Day parade with their little league teams. James and his teammates even got to carry the sign. Grandma, Madeleine, Desi and I watched, waved and collected lots of candy!

Desi's last day of school

Desi's last day of 3s preschool was today. It was hard to say goodbye to his awesome teachers, but he is ready for summer to start. We celebrated with a French toast stick lunch with Auntie NeNe, Grandma and Papa, Carolyn's poetry picnic, lemonade at our neighbor's lemonade stand and dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.

We are so proud of Carolyn! She made the Junior Waves! Here is the freestyle lap of her tryout. She also did a lap of backstroke. She is so excited!

More from the fire station

I was able to join Desi's class on their field trip to the fire station on Friday (before rushing to the zoo to join James' class and to say hi to Carolyn's class who was there, too). So fun to see all of the excitement on the kids' faces:)

Jedi Training party

Desi's friend had an awesome Jedi training birthday party and asked that James come along because he thinks of him as a big brother (even though he's only met James a few times). Both boys had a blast!

Fun weekend with Papa

I didn't get to take many pictures on our whirlwind weekend of birthday parties, Indian Princess camp out and rained out soccer games, but we had a great time and tears were shed when it was time to say goodbye:(
