Christmas card

I attempted to take a sibling photo for our Christmas card on three occasions.  On the third go round I discovered the what works is a dance party photo shoot, complete with their favorite dance songs and silly pictures between real pictures.  This method will be employed again in the future.

Papa Dave's visit

I guess I didn't get my camera out a lot, but we really enjoyed having Papa Dave visit for the weekend in early December!

Daddy's birthday

I can't remember what we ordered for dinner (probably pizza), but the Oberweis cookies 'n cream pie was the important part.  We were happy to have Papa Dave, Grandma Dolly and Papa Chuck over to celebrate with us. Happy Birthday, Desi!

Thanksgiving 2014

We spent Thanskgiving 2014 at home, hosting Grandma Dolly, Papa Chuck, Auntie NeNe and Mr. Mike.  Desi broke out his new Weber Cookbook and smoked his first turkey on the grill (applewood smoked with applejack gravy), the rest of us made some sides and Baker's Square pies took care of dessert.

Halloween 2014

Before I post Christmas, I feel like I should get Halloween and Thanksgiving on here so here goes...

Desi super excited to head to school.  James as Bears Batman in his school parade (I wish this pic was in focus because he had a great look on his face).

Desi and Tinkerbell (Avery), his partner in crime and best buddy.

Grandma Dolly and Auntie NeNe came to see Carolyn's parade which was held inside due to the rain and cold.  Auntie took the younger three home so I could stay for Carolyn's class party.

We waited for Daddy to get home before heading out trick-or-treating.  It was drizzling/snowing on us.  This wasn't a problem for the older three who went running from door to door, but after a little while Madeleine made it clear that she was ready to head home.

Gma Dolly reading to Desi

One of about fifteen books she read to him that night. He just kept running back and forth to the book shelf shouting "one more, one more!"
