Sunset dinner

We had an impromptu sunset dinner while the carpet cleaners finished up at Gma and Papa's house. It was our first time trying out DoorDash (for some BW3s). We'll definitely be doing that again!

Madeleine's first day!

Today was Madeleine's turn to start off the school year!  We were so happy to see lots of familiar faces in her class, including her teacher Mrs. Sullivan, who has taught all of her siblings, too!

Zoo time

After a successful second day of school for Desi and a joyful morning of only child-ness for Madeleine, we met some friends for lunch and play at the zoo.

Back to school 2017

Cinnamon rolls for breakfast, lunches packed (rotini with parmesan for James and PB&J for Carolyn), two wardrobe changes and back to school we go.  Upon arriving at school Desi said
"I was getting a little tired [from the walk to school], but I'm okay because kindergartners don't get tired".  We hugged, everyone got in their lines and into the building they went.  Madeleine was reluctant to walk home with just me (asking to be carried the whole way), but once home she sat down by the dollhouse and announced "If Carolyn's not here, I get to play my way".  Looking forward to a great year!
