This past week Carolyn and I drove down to St. Louis to visit some friends. We had a wonderful time staying with Ellen and Doug. Carolyn (though not shown in this picture where she is distracted by a waitress) was so good with Ellen. She let her hold her and play with her without any crying. Hopefully this is good sign for the end of separation anxiety.
We also saw my friend Kristan and her twin girls (which I hadn't seen since they were 5 weeks old at my wedding). We went swimming and played for a little while.
