Last Friday was the Western Springs Fall Festival. It was a rainy, cool day, but we still made it out to see all of the decorated pumpkins (there was a really cool Oscar the Grouch among others), listen to the story teller, and eat some popcorn and chili. There was a hayride, too, but Carolyn just looked at the horses. We also stopped at Oberweis for some pumpkin ice cream before heading home.
