We made a little road trip to Columbus at the end of July for my friend Ashley's baby shower. The normally 6 hour trip took a little bit over 8 hours, with the extra stops for feeding our littlest one, but overall both kids did great in the car.
Carolyn spent a lot of time searching Ashley's house for her cat, Koni. Everytime we left the house Carolyn asked where Koni was and when we pulled back in the driveway she asked if she could go look for Koni.
After the shower on Saturday we made a trip to campus to eat some Adriatico's and check out the new Ohio Union. The building closed before we got there, but some leaving students let us sneak in to take a quick look and snap a few pictures.
We broke up our trip home with a stop in Indianapolis to meet Donovan, our friends Ellen and Doug's new little guy. I forgot to take any pictures, but it was wonderful to see them all and we're excited that they are only 3 hours away!
I'm glad the kiddos got to visit their future Alma mater! Carolyn looks so happy on the Oval! O - H!!
ReplyDeleteThe Union closes? It seems like it would be a 24-hour facility. Did the old Union ever close?
