The first day of school was also the day that Auntie NeNe and Uncle Mike closed on their new house. We drove up to see it after school and brought some sparkling cider to toast the occasion. Madeleine took a nice nap on the living room floor and Auntie showed the other kids the crazy squirrels in her oak trees.
