Yesterday was Day 1 of Babies and Beyond (where do they come up with these class names?) swimming lessons. Class time is right at Carolyn's normal bedtime, but, as I had hoped, the excitement of swimming kept her awake and energized. There were only five babies in the class, one of which is her friend Anna from playgroup, so there was plenty of space to move around in. She practiced kicking, paddling, blowing bubbles, using a kick board and reaching for toys. Her only meltdown came when the teacher decided to use her as an example and took her from me. This is never a good idea.
