After a long morning spent celebrating cousin Luke's first communion, we came home, sang and had some cake to celebrate our little man's big day. He is now 32" tall (95th%ile) and weighs 20lbs 4 oz (10-20th%ile). He has taken a few steps here and there, but isn't quite walking yet. He has four teeth fully in (bottom middle two and top fangs) with two more just through the surface (bottom left of middle and top right front). He loves to climb on everything including the ottomans, the couch if you'll help him, the playtable, his shopping cart walker and musical table. If you can't find him, check his favorite spots: in the corner of the playroom tearing through the book basket or underneath the dining room table. Current favorite books are Doggies and Blue Hat Green Hat (both by Sandra Boynton). His favorite toy is whatever his sister is holding at the moment and he already knows that Blankie Baby is her most coveted dolly and therefore he must grab, kiss and play with her whenever she's within reach. Thankfully, Carolyn is occasionally willing to go along with this. He loves to play outside and splash around at the pool. Happy Birthday James!
