We saw a bunch of fireworks over the lake, but I was hoping to catch one more show that we could be a little closer to. Originally that meant stopping in Bloomington, IL of their festival, but we were making such good time on our drive that we decided to head all the way to the nearby suburb of Westmont. Our plan of watching from a church parking lot turned into a Wendy's parking lot when kids needed to go to the bathroom, but it worked out great and now we know the secret quick in and out viewing spot for future years.
